How to Create User Account in Windows 10

When you try to install a clean window 10 in your computer or try to install windows 10 in a new computer you must create a new user account. But what will happen if you share your computer with another one?  It’s simple just add another local user account for him.

Why More User Accounts

Usually, user accounts are creating for share your computer with others. I mean that one computer with multiple user accounts. Creating additional user accounts for your family or others means that they can set-up the windows as they want and the advantage is they can’t change the other user account settings unless they don’t have admin privileges.

Create New User Account in Windows 10

Method – 01

First you must log in to your windows 10 account and follow the steps below.

Click the Windows icon with I (win + I), It will open windows Settings page and then click “Accounts.”

On the Windows Accounts section, Click and open to the “Family & other users” tab, and then click on the “Add someone else to this PC” option. A prompted dialog box will open and asked mail address to create a new user account.

Just click “I don’t have this person’s sign-in information”,

Then you will see another dialog box. Just click “Add a user without a Microsoft account”,

Here, add the user’s name and password, then it will ask three security questions to recover your account password incase if you forgot it.

Fill the requirements and click next to create a new local user in windows 10.

That’s it That’s it, now you successfully created a local user in windows 10.

Here is the local users list which is available in your computer and you can find the user’s name which you create just now.

Method – 02

First you must log in to your windows 10 account and follow the steps below.

Click the windows button and search “Computer Management” and open it.

On the Computer Management, click “System Tools” and then Click on the “Local Users and Groups”.

Right Click on the user and select “New User”, A new user creation box will be open.

Now, Fill the requirements.

If your new user wants security then Tick on “User must change password at next logon”, So the new user will be able to change the password at next login.

If your new user doesn’t want security then Un-Tick on “User must change password at next logon” and Tick on “User cannot change password” and “Password never expires”.

Finally Click on “Create” button.

That’s it, now you successfully created a local user in windows 10.
